Two Laowa lenses gain Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts

Venus Optics has released its Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL lens with the Canon RF mount and added the Nikon Z mount for Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra-Macro APO lens.

This makes the Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL ultra-wide-angle lens available for Canon’s full-frame (FF) mirrorless cameras. Encompassing a 126-degree angle of view with a minimum focus distance of 19 cm, this lens weighs only 254 grams and it ideal for landscape and travel photography. The Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL is now available in Leica M, Sony FE, Nikon Z, Canon RF and L mount. Its MSRP in US is US$799 (for Leica M) or US$699 for other mounts.

The Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra-Macro APO lens is designed for use with APS-C mirrorless cameras so the latest release will only be compatible with Nikon’s Z50 camera. The only macro lens in the market that is capable of producing 2x life-size images, it weighs just 335 grams and makes a great companion for outdoor and ecological photography. It is now available in Canon EF-M, Fuji X, Sony E & Nikon Z mounts. The suggested retail price in the US is US$399.
