Lorde and Hunter Schafer, star of HBO’s Euphoria, sat down for a conversation on The A24 Podcast. They discussed their admiration for each other, the creative process, Schafer’s first job working for Rookie, Lorde’s early acting experience, the process of directing the “Solar Power” video, fashion, Euphoria, Antarctica, and much more. Lorde released her third album Solar Power in August. In September, she shared an EP With Māori renditions of songs from the album. In November, she shared a video for Solar Power track “Fallen Fruit,” as well as digital versions of two songs that previously appeared on New Zealand editions of the LP. She would then reschedule her New Zealand and Australia tour dates for 2023 in response to the recent COVID-19 spike in her home country. She shared the video for “Leader of a New Regime” in December.
