CameraPro Explorer’s Grant offers funding for worthwhile projects

CameraPro is accepting applications for its 2021 Explorer’s Grant, which provides funding to assist worthy causes and raise awareness of them through photography/video.

This is the third year in which the initiative has been run and this year adds a new Junior category for creatives who are under 13-17 years old to the existing Photography and Video categories. The Explorer’s Grant has a budget of $12500, which will be divided among the three categories in the following way:
Photography – $5,000 funding ($3,000 for project + $2,000 for cause)
Videography- $5,000 funding ($3,000 for project + $2,000 for cause)
Junior (13-17 years old) – $2,500 funding ($1,500 for project + $1,000 for cause).

The Explorer’s Grant was established to offer humanitarians, environmentalists, storytellers, innovators and pioneers both financial support and exposure for their chosen cause through photography and/or videography. Nominated projects can last for up to 6 months with a focus on making a positive social or environmental impact within Australia. Applications are open to Australian residents and close on 31 August.
