Lil Durk Engaged to India Royale, Proposes On Stage

Lil Durk is putting a ring on it.

The Chicago rapper is engaged after proposing to his longtime girlfriend India Royale in front of a packed crowd in his hometown on Saturday night (Dec. 18).

During his performance at WGCI’s Big Jam concert at the United Center, Durk brought the mother of his child on stage before getting down on one knee and presenting her with a ring.

“You know I love you to death. You’ve been holding me down when I was going through a lot. You’ve been the realest to me,” he said before popping the question.

“Would you wanna be my wife?” he asked.

Before India could say yes, the crowd erupted in cheers as they hugged it out in front of friends and fans.

The couple has stuck together through good and bad times and welcomed a baby girl, Willow Banks, in November 2018. Durk has often professed his love for India, shouting her out on Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” and his 2017 song “India.”

On Friday, he released “Broadway Girls,” a collaboration with controversial country singer Morgan Wallen.
