David Byrne and St. Vincent Cover Stevie Wonder’s “Chemical Love”: Watch

Longtime collaborators David Byrne and St. Vincent joined forces once more last night, covering Stevie Wonder’s “Chemical Love” at a Brooklyn Academy of Music event, as Spin points out. Watch the performance of Wonder’s Jungle Fever gem at the Howard Gilman Opera House below.

Byrne was among the honorees at the BAM Gala, alongside Spike Lee and the real estate attorney Claire Wood. Gina Duncan, president at BAM, said the three had “built community around their work,” and commended Byrne for “always exploring, always trying new things, and also really thinking about how to use his work, his curiosity and his platform to build communities that think about how we can solve some of the problems that are really plaguing the world,” according to New York Daily News.
